Maryville College welcomes qualified high school juniors and seniors to take college level courses. Students are considered for admission as Highlander Academy Dual Enrollment students if they have a minimum 3.0 grade point average OR a minimum ACT of 21 (SAT of 1060). Students may dual enroll in up to 3 courses per semester. There is limited space in many introductory level courses and course enrollment is not guaranteed. Special Dual Enrollment sections of select courses, reserved for only Dual Enrollment students, are available. English 1100 Composition and Speech I in the Fall semester is an example. Other courses may be offered.
We encourage prospective Highlander Academy Dual Enrollment students to submit their application by the priority deadline:
May 1 for the Fall semester
November 1 for the Spring semester
Dual enrollment course registration will be granted as space in the course is available.

If you have previously Dual Enrolled at any college or university, you must submit your college/university transcript for those courses. It can be unofficial.

Registration access will be granted after admission to the Highlander Academy. Instructions and details for registration will be emailed to the student.
