Maryville College welcomes qualified high school juniors and seniors to take college level courses. Students are considered for admission as Highlander Dual Enrollment students if they have a minimum 3.0 grade point average OR a minimum ACT of 21 (SAT of 1060). Students must reapply for each term they wish to dual enroll. There is limited space in many introductory level courses and course enrollment is not guaranteed. Special Dual Enrollment sections of select courses, reserved for only Dual Enrollment students, are available. English 1100 Composition and Speech I in the Fall semester is an example. Other courses may be offered.
We encourage prospective Highlander Dual Enrollment students to submit their application by the priority deadline:
May 1 for the Fall semester
November 1 for the Spring semester
After these deadlines, dual enrollment course registration will be granted as space in the course is available.
